I should never have bought it

A few years ago, I bought an air fix snap-together star wars Jedi Starfighter. When I started building the thing, the pegs in one of the wing pieces snapped off, meaning the it couldn’t attach to the rest of the model, and wouldn’t look as good as it should. Upon completion, it looked okay despite its detached wing. It was clear that it was for more that just observation, as the canopy could be opened and the pilot could be removed, but there was really no actually reason to do so. Also there were parts of the wings that could be open, but they had to be opened one at a time, and again there was really no reason to do so. The model was made of quite brittle plastic, so you had to pick it up with care. It fact recently, I was tidying my room, I accidentally knocked to off the shelf I had it on, and it pretty much shattered on impact, twenty quid gone straight down the drain, it should have a ten at max, maybe five at least. I personal feel that this was merely meant to leech young star wars fans of their parent’s money, and that if you’re going to buy an air fix model for any reason, you should buy the more expense but more sturdy glue together kits, like my obviously smarter older brother Guy.
